Loose is my dream, it is the way I see the world and the wearables I want to wear and use every day.
My belief is to wear clothes that make me feel good and comfortable from natural materials which provide my body with positive energies and relaxation.
A little bit about the designer
My name is Eilat Mashiah, I am a fashion designer and artist who believes in the connection between humans & nature.
Graduate from Bezalel Academy studied Fashion & Jewelry design.
I was born and raised in Haifa, Israel on the Carmel mountain a magical city combining nature within the urban environment.
I believe in slow fashion, meaning that I'm creating my collections in my cozy home studio. each garment is one of a kind, made by my hands and it can be made by order.
I am doing my best to reduce my waste by using square patterns with maximum fabric use, to reduce scraps. the pieces left unused I save and make them come back to life by finding them new purpose. like our relaxation pillows.

Sustainability
Loose walking its first steps, and it is learning how to become more and more sustainable while trying to reduce its waste, by using fabrics leftovers and natural materials.
Loose stands for slow fashion being made for the customer order. there is no stock and everything you order is being handmade when purchased. this is the reason the clothes take time to get to you, but they are made to be high quality and will last for a very long time.
At the end of the garments usage, they will biodegrade back into the soil because they are 100% cotton.
Nature Connection
I believe in "BIOPHILIA" which means nature is an inseparable part of our life.
Loose purpose is to reconnect us, humans with nature. mother nature provides us with an amazing variety of materials that we can use. the good energy of those is necessary for our lives, our sanity and calm feeling.
reconnecting with nature will make us thrive and grow. in return we need to take care of him. (more in sustainability value)
Reduce Waste
Loose wearables made from squares and rectangle shapes, to reduce fabric leftovers while providing a unique loose drop of the fabric.
The shapes are mostly oversize so that we will feel cozy and comfy, which makes us feel more confident and radiant towards the world.
Natural Materials
All the materials I use are made from 100% natural materials, all the fabrics are from 100% cotton. I choose to use natural fabrics because they are on our body all day long and I believe we need to nature our body with natural materials as much as we can.
I want to wear clothing that will make my body feel comfortable and relaxed.
All the packages are also made from recycled cardboard and paper, or from natural materials that are easy to decompose.
Handmade
All the wearables are being made by me, Eilat, at my studio in my apartment. every single item is made with love and good energy that will continue its way to your hands. I am cutting the fabrics, sewing them, washing them and warping them in my own hands. I can ensure you the best quality I can give while taking care of your new wearables.
OEKO-TEX® 100 STANDARD
אחד הדברים החשובים ביותר בבגדים של לוס הוא ליצור בגדים איכותיים, בריאים ובטוחים לשימוש. לכן כל הבדים שאנו משתמשים בהם עושיים מחומרים טבעיים. בדי הכותנה והפשתן שלנו נבדקים תחת פיקוח שנקרא OEKO-TEX®. ה-STANDARD 100, זהו תקן עולמי למוצרי טקסטיל. על מנת לקבל את התקן הזה מוצר הטקסטיל עובר סדרה מקיפה של בדיקות יסודיות שמטרתן לוודא שאין במוצר כימיקלים רעילים, חומרי הדברה, פתלטים וחומרים רעילים אחרים כמו עופרת וארסן.
רשימת החומרים הנבדקים בתקן ה- OEKO-TEX® 100 STANDARD:
-ללא כלור פנולים – חומר מזהם ורעיל שעלול לפגוע בבריאות במקרים של חשיפה ממושכת. בבדיקה מוודאים שאין עקבות של החומר הזה במוצר.
-ללא צבעים מסרטנים – ישנם צבעים שמשתמשים בהם לייצור טקסטיל שעלולים להיות מסרטנים.
בבדיקה מוודאים שלא השתמשו בצבעים מסוג זה.
-ללא צבעים AZO Dye - האיחוד האירופי אסר והגביל את השימוש בצבעים מסוג AZO Dye (צבעים שעשוים לשחרר חומרים אמינים ארומטיים) במוצרי טקסטיל שנמצאים במגע ישיר וממושך עם העור או חלל הפה.
לכן, בבדיקה מוודאים שלא נעשה שימוש בצבעים אלה במהלך הייצור.
-ללא צבעים אלרגניים – ישנם מספר סוגים של צבעים שיכולים לגרום לאלרגיות בעור.
גם צבעים אלו נבדקים.
-פליטה נמוכה של VOCs – VOCs - הן תרכובות אורגניות נדיפות שיכולות לפגום באיכות האוויר.
בבדיקה מוודאים שהפליטה של החומרים הללו נמוכה כדי שאיכות האוויר בסביבתנו לא תיפגע.
-ללא מתכות כבדות - חלק מהמתכות הכבדות כמו עופרת, ארסן ועוד יכולות להיות מסוכנות לבריאות.
לכן בבדיקה מוודאים שאין את החומרים הללו.
